Cancellation Policy

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, state you are not entitled to any refund: when work commences or is due to commence within seven working days of work starting.

Cherryfield Ecology however has the following further Terms – 

Cancellation within 7 working days: 

1. Work not started and the project is cancelled – admin fee of no less than £100 +VAT

2. Work started – Fee to cover this work (based on an hourly rate of £110+VAT minimum of 1hr), admin fee £100 +VAT and any costs incurred to that point e.g. data from the records centre at cost. 

3. Works completed – full cost will need to be paid. 

4. Short notice e.g. the day before, on the day - full cost will need to be paid. 

Cancellation before the statutory 7 working days: 

1. Work not started and the project is cancelled – admin fee of no less than £100 +VAT

2. No work undertaken no further costs 

3. If data or other equipment ordered this will require paying for e.g. eDNA kits.
